The Leadership Summit will cover all priority areas and cross-cutting issues of Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) and on Global Inflation and Stagflation, Supply Chain Disruption and Value Chain Integration and Energy, Food and Currency Security’
This event will precede the IORA Council of Ministers (COM) and Committee of Senior Officials (CSO) meeting in Dhaka on 22-24 November 2022. The forum will provide an opportunity to network with business people and policy makers from around the Indian Ocean Rim to discuss solutions to economic challenges faced regionally. A key outcome of the Summit – the IORBF policy declaration, will be presented to the COM subsequently.
Mentionable that the IORBF is a Functional Body of IORA. It convenes business representatives from IORA Member States and Dialogue Partners to advise IORA Ministers and Officials on business issues and ways to accelerate intra-regional trade and increase investment flows in the region.
